The La Spaziale S40 is a beautiful looking espresso machine and is the flag ship model of the range. The main objective of the S40 machine is to improve on  the already perfection of the extraction of espresso. As with all La Spaziale espresso machines the heat exchange system uses steam instead of water for developing constant water temperature for the production of espresso water, as steam is a more stable than hot water it seemed like an obvious choice.

This method of heat exchange is also patented, no other machine  coffee machine manufacture can offer this method, making the la Spaziale range unique. The La Spaziale S40 is packed full of technologies to make this ‘state of the art’ machine the first choice for any coffee barista wanting to deliver perfect coffees all day long.

Here are some of the features of the S40 – an LCD screen which communicates to the barista whilst the machine is in motion, feeding information like water temperature to within 0.5 degrees, signals if the grind is too fine or course, pressure of the water in the boiler and in the pump whilst the drink is being made, and a visualisation of the water level in the boiler.

Each barista can programme the La Spaziale S40 to his own specification and save the data via a card system, so enabling unique instant machine programming.

The machine also holds all the data you would expect from this high class machine including recommending next maintenance service and water filter changes.

In the last part of last year a new la Spaziale S40 Supremma model was introduced, with stunning new looks – a slightly simplified version of the original S40 but maintaining all the key ingredients.
